Owner/operator Lucie LaPlante Villeneuve Villeneuve of Outdoor ESCAPES New Hampshire, LLC, has
announced the 2004 Events Calendar. “I normally guide custom wilderness
trips for individuals, families, and groups, but I’ve set aside some dates
and put together special events open to the public,” says LaPlante.

Exploring New Hampshire’s nature and history
with Outdoor ESCAPES New Hampshire is a special experience not soon
forgotten. People of all ages take a step back in time and discover the
peace of the wilderness while traveling under their own power. Pictured

The events
take place around the state, and range from a four-hour tour to two-day
instructional trips with wilderness camping. These small group experiences
involve wilderness travel by snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, hiking,
paddling, and biking.
Those who
love the outdoors will find something of interest among the calendar’s four
themes: NH Nature, NH History, Wilderness Women, and NH Challenge. This
winter’s events include wildlife tracking and photography, winter
backcountry basics, a biathlon, and a heritage ski tour. In addition to
