| Do you paddle a
canoe or kayak? Or simply want to keep New Hampshire clean? We need help with our annual volunteer cleanup of
three sites in the Lakes Region.
Saturday May 15, 10am:
Winnipesaukee River in Franklin.
Monday May 17, 10am:
Winnipesaukee River downtown Laconia.
Thursday May 20, 5pm: Snake
River in Center Harbor.
You and all paddlers are invited to help keep New Hampshire
clean. There will be food! If you don't have a boat, we'll get you
one, or you can help from shore. Boats are supplied by Outdoor
ESCAPES NH, Pemi-Baker River Adventures, and ?
About the sites:
The Winnipesaukee River requires quickwater paddling skills--call
Lucie for a pre-event lesson. The Snake River is actually a 1-mile
passageway between Lake Winona and Waukewan--a great place for
families because the flow is slow.
If you can help with any or all of the dates above, please RSVP
